A set of hand painted napkin rings

This is a set of 4 hand-painted napkin rings in a matching storage box. The napkin rings and the box were made of paper-mache and hand-painted in traditions of Uzbek ornamental painting.

Paper-mache is processed to be very durable and to have a smooth surface (versus "wrinkly" surface). The box feels like it is made of wood. The flower stems of the decoration and borders are painted in genuine liquid bronze, which makes the colors more vivid. This was the last touch that's added to the box before covering it with several layers of lacquer for protection.

This set will make an unforgettable gift for a couple which is starting to build a home together. This is also a great table accessory for a Christmas time.
