Orange polkadot ikat fabric

Orange and white large polkadot ikat fabric which was hand-dyed and handloom woven in Fergana Valley of Uzbekistan. The fabric has a beautiful moire pattern.

This fabric is a hand dyed and hand woven ikat fabric made using a centuries old tradition of ikat making. Ikat is a technique of weaving that requires a great amount of precision of tying and dyeing the yarns in order to achieve a desired pattern. The process is a heavily manual process.
