A few historic notes about the fabric used to make this pillow cover: this fabric is from the Soviet days when most of the ikat industry of Uzbekistan was industrialized and state owned. With the collapse of the Soviet Union, big textile factories lost government funding, closed and smaller artisanal shops opened up. This is why, most of the ikats we see these days are hand-woven and narrow (the width is set by hand looms). This specific fabric is one of the wide ikat fabrics made in the big machinery days.
This is a 16" (41cm) square pillow cover made of a machine woven cotton / silk blend ikat fabric. The pillow cover is machine washable.
This pillow cover closes with an invisible zipper and fits standard 16" (41cm) pillow inserts.
