Light blue ikat pillow cover made of a hand-woven ikat silk velvet called "al bahmal" and linen fabric. The handmade velvet is silky, smooth and soft while the linen (used for the back side) is as simple and raw as linen can be.
The connection of the two fabrics was adorned with a handmade lace called jiyak. You can read more about how we used jiyak for trimming in this blog post.
The cover closes with an invisible zipper on a side and fits standard 12" x 16" pillow inserts.
