For this product we combined hand-dyed and hand-woven ikat fabric for one side and a burlap material from a coffee bean bag for another side. The cover fits standard 60cm x 60cm pillow covers and closes with a zipper on a side.
The inspiration for this product came about a year ago when in Palermo, Sicily I came across a wholesale coffee store. I happened to ask a seller if they would be willing to sell a coffee bean bag - I had no idea for what, I just knew I wanted one. The seller, a generous Sicilian soul, gave me two bags for free.
We designed this pillow cover thinking of summer, balconies, gardens, possibly seating on the floor and using this as a cushion. The pillow cover is made of entirely organic fibers which in itself is a luxury.
